The BERLINER LISTE celebrates its tenth anniversary with great success
September 19th to 22nd | KRAFTWERK BERLIN
With more than 10.000 visitors BERLINER LISTE ended on Sunday, September 22nd, 2013. Art lovers, gallery owners and collectors surged into Kraftwerk Berlin to discover 131 international galleries, project groups and individual artists from 30 countries over an area of more than 2.500 square metres.
With this in mind we are looking forward to KÖLNER LISTE from April 10th to 13rd, 2014 and the 11th BERLINER LISTE that will take place during Berlin Art Week from September 18th to 21st, 2014.
Together with the Berlin Art Week, the BERLINER LISTE thus strived to prove Berlin as an exciting and lucrative art market. We are especially glad about a very good press media echo that confirmed curator Dr. Peter Funken and the Photography Section as excellent innovations.
Within the framework of Berlin Art Week, the BERLINER LISTE stands for emerging artists that offer their work at (still) moderate prices, but could be shooting stars of the art scene in the near future.
The spectrum of exhibited art ranged from contemporary painting, sculpture, drawings and graphics to installations, video art and performance. A special focus is given this year for the first time on photography that looks back on a long tradition in Berlin and becomes more and more important as a contemporary and modern medium in art.
At BERLINER LISTE, emerging galleries, artists and project spaces exhibit their work at fair prices. In the context of the new photography section, specialised galleries present the photographs of exiting artists in an exposed position.
Curator of BERLINER LISTE 2014 will be Dr. Peter Funken again, who will support the fair with his expertise in ensuring an excellent selection of the exhibited works.
